Leeds United fans are planning what they are calling a "Silent Protest" to put the players who refused to have their wages lowered to shame.

The Elland Road club's fans are furious at the players for this, as the high wages of the players continues to drag the club further and further into debt and closer and closer to relegation.

“Make yourself heard at Elland Road today against Middlesbrough - join in our silent protest. From the moment the players run on to the pitch until the game kicks off we encourage you to make your feelings known by being absolutely silent.

"It's been years since anyone listened to the fans at Elland Road - so let's take our voices away. Once the game kicks off, get vocal and get behind the team. Let them know what 40,000 silent supporters sound like. We are Leeds."

However, will this be a good idea? Will the players perform well without support? Discuss this on the message board!!!
