Birmingham City have managed to sign Arsenal youngster Neil Kilkenny. The youngster has signed a two and a half year contract after being advised to join the Blues by his England Under-19's Coach.

The youngster will be hoping to make an impact at St. Andrews and the fans will be waiting to see what he's doing.

"I came and had a look at around and I liked what I saw.

"I met Steve Bruce and Stewart Hall and all of them were really nice to me and when you put everything together it all seemed right.

"Although a few other clubs were interested I liked this one the best so I decided to sign here.

"Over the next two years I hope to be pushing for the first team and maybe knocking on the door next season.

"Obviously it would be even better this year but I think that would be unlikely because there's not much time left."
