'I hope both teams come to an agreement this week,' Mornar told The News. 'I want to leave because I can earn much more elsewhere - although I still play with my heart in every match for Anderlecht.
'I was relegated to fourth striker at the beginning of the season but have fought and have helped the club. I hoped Anderlecht would do more to keep me as I would have liked to stay.'But I asked for a three-year contract and got a two-year offer.'
Ivor Mornar has also claimed to have had a verbal offer from Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers but would prefer a move to Fratton Park.
Pompey have also been pursuing American international Landon Donovan.
