Leicester's latest recruit Steve Guppy is expected to start against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

Riccardo Scimeca has recovered from a shin injury and should also start, although Muzzy Izzet continues to be a doubt while troubled by an Achilles tendon problem.

Elliott said: ``It's good to have Steve back on board. I saw the reports that he could be back on the scene and it's good news for us.

``He had a great time here before, being a key player in the side that had a lot of success, and if he can recreate that sort of form then everyone will be happy.

``Everyone knows Steve's main strength, his crossing ability, and with the centre-forwards we've got at this club, it can only bode well for us. Steve is not a youngster anymore but he is a very fit lad and it represents a good bit of business.

``He has not played a lot recently so he will be chomping at the bit. He is someone who likes to play as often as he can and he will be ready to seize this chance.''
