Harriers v Scunny My player ratings
- Danby 7 (out of 10) Usual reliable Danby, could do nothing with the goals and made good saves.
- Jenkins 7 Another battling display, this time at full back
- Cooper 8 best performance by the defence today in unfamilar left side roll.
- Sall 6 first game back and did ok, still some improvement
- Hatswell 7 reasonable game for the skipper, who even broke forward very convincingly.
- Advice 5 1st game for a while and it showed unfortnately, always tried to play the right ball.
- Keates 8 another gritty display which is required in our current plight, and Deano was there again today
- Christiansen 9** A star performance today by Jesper as it looks like he could have found his true position, in midfield. Not quite the same level, but the same happened to his fellow countryman John Dahl Thomasson, who plays better in a withdrawn role. Super skill and effort today and certainly answered his critics.
- Brown 7 Good performance by Browner who again was a handful, before injury forcing him off.
- Foster 8 Possibly only Jespers performance was better than Fozzies today and took his goals well. Even better when you consider he was an injury doubt.
- Langmead 8 Best game that I'v seen him play, cracking winner and unlucky with header which was well saved.
- subs Mc Mahon 5 did ok - Russell 6 looked busy
The Ref: Mr Singh did well today, and looked like he was enjoying the game and had good rapport with the players. Apparently a new ref and,as the name suggests he is one of very few Asian officials. Looks to be a good ref.
Scunthorpe - One of, if not the best team seen at Aggboro this season. Not a total footballing side but play enough for this level. I would imagine they would feel hard done by in losing in injury time.
