Glazer in Kidder takeover ?????
By KJ October 15 2004
It looks like Kidderminster Harriers have found a bit of money. Could the American tycoon be in talks? Well probably not, as Kidder take on Scunny tomorrow

Harriers v Scunthorpe 16/10/04 ko 3.00pm

To be honest, the only "Glazer", who has any Harriers connections are a local glass company who adopt the same name as The Harriers. However, reports in this weeks Express & Star suggest than manager Jan Molby could be given some extra funds to help Harriers pull away from the League's basement. As I pen this, Harriers could be signingsomeone ready for tomorrow.

Goodbye Richie

It was announced today on the official site (link later!) that midfielder Richie Appleby has left Kidder and linked up with Conference side Forest Green Rovers. Rovers offered Appleby a 2 year contract, where as he was on non contract terms at Harriers. A pity really, but Apples hasnt quite been the player he was since his return from an injury plagued spell at Hull City.

Team news

Defender Abdou Sall is available for Harriers again after serving a 3 game ban. Midfielder Freddy Advice has recovered from injury and scored for the reserves in midweek. Once again, striker Iysedden Christie is rumoured to be available, whether he will start or come off the bench, or even if he will be fit no one is 100%. Micky Mellon is ruled out and Rueben Hazell is due to have an operation. Harriers will need a much improved display against the high flying Iron. Any late news will be added to this article.

Cult Heroes

Harriers will be on TV tomorrow lunchtime (BBC1) as fans can chose their Harriers all time cult hero. They have been whittled (coach?) down to three, with a choice of Mike Marsh, Ocker Davies or Delwyn Humphries. Difficult really, my choice would have been either Kim Casey or Martin Weir, so I opted for Ocker, with those two not listed. For details on how to vote see the official site http://www.harriers.co.uk
