Bury 4 Harriers 0 (HT 2-0)
Unfortunately (or fortunately?!) I did not attend todays game, please check the other sites out (Via Links) for match reports.
Jan recalled Micky Mellon into the starting line up as Kidder attempted to bounce back from Saturdays defeat to Wycombe Wanderers. Sadly Harriers were torn apart by a Bury team fresh from a 3-0 derby win at Rochdale on Saturday. Despite a promising start Harriers fell behind around the 1/2 hour mark to Nugent and conceded a 2nd just before the break to Porter.
The 2nd period didnt get any better for Kidder as Porter and then Flitcroft added to the score for the Shakers. Flitcroft was then sent off for a 2nd booking with 13 minutes to go. Perhaps Kidder could have come back and at least restored some pride? Sadly not, 4-0 it finished and to round off a miserable day, Micky Mellon also received a red card in the last minute.
