Chelsea v. Manchester United - Match Reaction

Howard - Didn't have to do too much. Apart from one bad kick, he was fine. 6

P Neville - Needs to stop giving away daft free kicks. Apart from that, solid. 7

O'Shea - Slightly shaky at times. Got better as the game progressed. 7

Silvestre - Some great tackles! However, still prone to the odd lapse in concentration. 7.5

Heinze - Excellent performance! Absolutely solid! 9

Fletcher - Got tired as the game progressed but a great first half! 7

Djemba Djemba - Some decent passes but passing was just rubbish!  5

Fortune - Great game for him. Kept possession well and got stuck in! Some great tackles too 8

Ronaldo - Was better. Crossing has improved as has decision making. Kept the ball better than he has recently too. 7

Rooney - Looked sharp but struggled to get in to the game. Didn't do anything wrong really and always looked a threat. 6

Saha - Slightly rusty but what can you expect as it is his first game back from injury, and considering that, he did quite well. 6

Subs:

Scholes - A fantastic 20 minutes! 8

Smith - NA

We should have been awarded a penalty in the first half; but then again we have jut seen yet ANOTHER blatant refereeing mistake!

When Sir Alex Ferguson stated the fact that we should have been awarded one; and that he didn't really expect one as it was a home game, Mourinho replied that we shouldn't we complaining about refereeing mistakes because of what happened at the Spurs game; what he labelled "ridiculous". So what happened in that situation against Spurs, has been used against us-typical!

Then he went on to saying that the referee and Sir Alex Ferguson walked down the tunnel together at half time. Apart from his 2 assistants and fourth official, there was "someone else". He claimed that "I see one referee in the first half and another in the second,"

He then went on to saying that we had a dozen free kicks in the second half and it went from "fault after fault and dive after dive."

And if that was not enough he claimed: "Maybe when I turn 60 and have been managing in the same league for 20 years and have the respect of everybody I will have the power to speak to people and make them tremble a little bit."

"Blah blah blah..."

I have never heard him rattle so much!

Of course, the FA aren't going to do anything about his comments.

Funnily enough, Mourinho failed to comment about Drogba's hand clearly around Fortunes neck! And nor will the FA do anything about that either!

Some thought that we should have been awarded a penalty in the game when it came to the whole John Terry situation. (Personally, I didn't think it was a penalty) Phil Neville stated that when it comes to Ronaldo, it is difficult to tell whether he is being tackled or he is diving!

Saw some great performances last night. After the match, Sir Alex Ferguson stated that there is not a player like Scholes in the whole land!

As Sir Alex hinted, he did play a stronger team against Chelsea. And to be fair, a draw was a fair result.

When we meet again, at Old Trafford, I can see us winning!
