Brilliant United fire four again as Swans sunk

On fire!

Manchester United’s stunning start to the Premier League season continued in South West Wales, with a rampant, four-goal display at Swansea City.

Three goals in four incredible second-half minutes gave the scoreline an emphatic nature, as United followed up their opening day hammering of West Ham United with another crushing win.

An ex-United XI had featured recently at the Liberty Stadium, in a testimonial game for Alan Tate – but this league contest was a very different affair, and Jose Mourinho’s men performed with slick, attacking aplomb.

The Red Devils took a single goal lead into the half-time break thanks to Eric Bailly, but it was between the 80th and 84th minute where the Red Devils were at their blistering best.

Romelu Lukaku made it four goals in three competitive games after sweeping home a Henrikh Mkhitaryan pass, before Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial put the finishing touches to crisp attacking moves.

Huddersfield and West Bromwich Albion are United's unlikely rivals for top spot, with all boasting two wins from two. The rampant Reds will look to continue their jaw-dropping start to the new campaign as they entertain Leicester City at Old Trafford next.

Full Time – Swansea City 0-4 Manchester United
Attendance – 20,862
