By Chris, June 17 2010 Zoran Tosic's poor spell at Manchester United has come to an end with the Serbian international set to join CSKA Moscow. The winger has failed to break into the first-team following a £7million move from Partizan Belgrade in January 2009.
Much was written about Tosic’s potential when he joined United from Partizan, but the attack-minded midfielder has registered only five appearances for the club since making the move.
Tosic is likely to go down as one of “Fergie’s flops” after failing to settle in the North West.
Fans may be a little surprised to see the player leave so quickly. He spent the second half of last season on loan with FC Koln and, by all accounts, played a big role in their bid to avoid relegation.
However, Sir Alex Ferguson clearly does not believe the player has a big future in the Premier League and has agreed to sell him to Partizan for an undisclosed fee.
