Reds kick off at OT against Barcodes

NUFC up first

Manchester United will kick-off the new Premier League season with a home game against newly-promoted Newcastle United. As thousands of supporters decide not to renew season tickets next season, travelling supporters can look forward to an away trip to Fulham on the second weekend of the season
The Barcodes bounced back from the Championship at the first time of asking and will be hoping to comfortably secure survival next season.

They face a tough opening game, however, as the Magpies travel to Old Trafford to face old foes United.

The Reds follow up that season opener with a trip to Fulham, before West Ham United travel to Old Trafford the following weekend.

Other dates for the diary include arch-rivals Liverpool's visit to the Theatre of Dreams on September 18th, while Sir Alex Ferguson's men make the short journey to Eastlands for a Wednesday evening fixture on November 10th.

The season finishes with a home game against Lancastrian rivals Blackpool who, led by Ian Holloway, staged a remarkable promotion from the Championship last season.
