The Lancashire League 2009-2010

Lancs League
By Chris,
August 20 2009
The 2009-2010 Premier League season boasts eight clubs that reside in the historic county of Lancashire. ManUtdWeb is thus delighted to launch the ‘Lancashire League’ to calculate which team is the pride of the county. There’ll be a whopping fifty six Lancastrian derbies over the course of the season.

Britain's counties have been changed significantly over the years - and in 1974 reform saw Manchester and Liverpool removed to form the metropolitan counties of Merseyside and Greater Manchester.

However, they will always be part of the historic county of Lancashire and ManUtdWeb is delighted to launch the ‘Lancashire League' for the 2009-2010 Premier League campaign.

There will be no fewer than 56 games this season which could traditionally be considered all-Lancashire contests. This page will be kept of a record of those fixtures and a league table will be constantly updated to help fathom out who are the footballing kings of the ceremonial, red rose county.
