The Baggies then the Bhoys

Back on form
By Rogero
October 16 2008
After the international break United have two home games to look forward to - firstly against WBA - The Baggies - on Saturday at 5.30 and then another visit from Celtic on Tuesday evening in the Champions League. With Wayne Rooney scoring goals for England let us hope we hear this being sung at full volume over the weekend..

"I saw my mate, the other day,
He said to me he'd seen the white Pele,
So I asked,Who is he?
He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney
Wayne Rooney, Wayne Rooney
He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney
Wayne Rooney, Wayne Rooney..."

Let us make no mistake - the boy is nearly back to his best and should be looking forward to helping United get their title challenge back on track on Saturday against WBA.

I didn't write this article - but I do hope you're joking, Mr.Dishes! I don’t want to get into such things on the MB – but describing someone as white or black is not racist! It’s also the most popular chant at Old Trafford at the moment – for obvious reasons. Rooney is on fire.

true true, i love the chant, sounds fantastic when it starts from the stretford end and reverberates around the ground.

Rooney is on fire but it is good to see sir alex keeping his feet on the ground and emphasising that it's a real team effort at the moment.

last year we.were labelled as a one-man team because of ronaldo and now everyone is praising rooney as our superman….football pundits can be very fickle.

Ronaldo must be fecking @#$%& and green with envy. havent heard viva ronaldo all season but rooney is getting well serenaded. vs celtic, the fans wouldnt stop chanting his name all game and even after that legitmate goal was yanked from him he would not be denied. The white pele lives!
Now if he can stay injury free for the rest of the season this could be his best season yet. happy days.
