Kyle Wilson netted a hat-trick as FC United of Manchester picked up their second league win of the campaign, 2,071 were at Gigg Lane as the Red Rebels edged out struggling Whitby Town by three goals to one. Wilson, a summer signing from Skelmersadle, was on top form as Karl Marginson's men climb up the Northern Premier League table.

FC United, for the first time in their history, are not expected to challenge at the top of their league this season - but they picked up a crucial 3-1 win over Whitby Town on Saturday to prove they're considerably stronger than the division's strugglers.

Wilson was in superb form in front of goal and the Rebels will be hoping to continue their good form against old rivals Bradford Park Avenue.
