All applications from Season Ticket holders and club members have been successful and there are enough tickets remaining for them to now go on open sale.

They will be available through the internet and on the telephone from Tuesday morning.

Tickets are priced from £30 to £22, with 50% deduction for concessions. One United members can get up to £2 off a price of their ticket.

Espanyol are perhaps not the most fitting opponents for Solskjaer's testimonial. Personally, I'd have preferred to see United line-up against the Norwegian national team, Bayern Munich, Molde or our boys from 1999.

However, it's great that United fans have chance to pay tribute to the playing career of one of the game's most amazing characters.

For Ole, of course, the football journey is only just started. He's just taken up the reigns as United's reserve-team manager and, as we reported last week, has hinted interest in one day occupying the Old Trafford hotseat.
