Vics Nick Young |
| Nicky Young has joined his father-in-law Alvin McDonald and ex-team
mates Andy Ralph and Phil Brazier at Wincham Park.
Alvin McDonald and Peter Carroll have both called on the long serving Motors striker, who is married to Alvin McDonald's daughter Helen, for more fire power to aviod the drop. Nicky ,30, had played for Vauxhall for no less than nine years after making his debut back in Setember 10th 1994. Young started his career with Everton and Bury, before playing at Bromborough Pool. He became the envy off every non-league manager when he was regularly scoring 30 plus goals a season and established himself as a fan favourite. Nicky played right through The Motormen's rapid success up the non-leagues, since Alvin took over as Vauxhall boss. Alvin stepped up the chase for Nicky just weeks of claiming he did not want to raid his former employers. Northwich are languishing at the foot of the table and out of the FA Cup, while Vauxhall are in 15th position in the UniBond League and struggling to get a run together for that top 13 spot to ensure Vauxhall play in the Conference North next season. VauxhallMotors.tk wish Nicky Young all the best at Northwich and hope his link up with Alvin McDonald and Peter Carroll proves a success. |
| Good news for Vauxhall fans (and I think we're due some), Carl Nesbitt has extended his contract for another year. Nezza will sign up for his TENTH season which means there will be a testimonial match in honour of the tough tackling midfielder. |
