FALKIRK CUP TIE - REVISED TICKET SALE ARRANGEMENTS

For the sake of clarity and in the interests of fairness to all supporters, Dundee FC has decided to restrict sales of tickets for the cup tie v Falkirk to a maximum of two per queuing supporter when tickets go on sale this Sunday.

"In the past we have allowed supporters to collect season ticket books from their friends so that only one person has to queue when the tickets go on sale," explained Operations Manager Jim Thomson.

"This has meant that some people queuing for tickets find that others in the queue in front of them may be buying blocks of 20 or 30 tickets.

"As tickets for the Falkirk tie are at such a premium and are so scarce however, we have decided to restrict sales to a maximum of two per person in the queue.

"We've thought long and hard about this but believe this is the fairest system for the greatest number of supporters and hope that fans will understand our rationale. "

Sales of the 1800 tickets available for the Falkirk tie go on sale to season ticket holders from the club shop at Dens on Sunday March 9th 2003.

Issued by Dundee Football Club.
