Wilkie Dropped, McFadden missed out?Vogts Lost it?
By James Hegarty February 6 2003
Wilkie was dropped and James McFadden was missed out of Berti Vogts squad and replaced by Old Firm youth players. Is this right? Is this the future for Scotland missing out Good Quality Non Old Firm players instead picking Average Old Firm Players? Only time will tell.

Wilkie dropped?

What was Berti Vogts thining when he announced his Scotland squad?

Was he thinking lets see Scotland get destroyed against Ireland?

Or maybe it was Lets drop one of the leagues finest Defenders for a OF Youth players?

Berti Vogts has dropped Wilkie and again Missed out James McFadden 2 of the league's youngest players.

Who to be replaced by but Robert Malcolm a half decent defender.

We have to ask why he got into the squad and Wilkie never is it because Wilkie is not an Old Firm player and Malcom is?

Scotland have so far lost 1 goal in 2 games that Wilkie has played that has to be a good sign.

Wilkie has been in out standing form this season and it's time Berti Vogts picked the team through a neutral view rather than OF tinted glasses.

We will see again Ireland if Berti Vogts was correct to leave McFadden and Wilkie out.
