Accrington Stanley 1 Halifax Town 1

Accrington Stanley
By Kurt Schubothe January 25 2006
Once again Halifax Town was in a hard fought match and settled for a tie for the second game in a row. The Shaymen had a chance to gain 6 points in the last two matches and managage only 2.
Another game ends in a tie as the Shaymen fail to secure 3 points for the second time against Accrington Stanley who are in the hunt for Promotion. The Shaymen get on board first as Forrest scored in the 58th minute.

Accrington Stanley was awarded a kick from the spot as Haslam of Halifax took down Roberts in the area. Cavanagh struck a perfect shot as the Halifax keep dove the wrong way.

These last two matches could have broke the Shaymen up the table.
