According to BBC Radio Five Live Gary Megson, the former West Brom boss, has been appointed manager of Nottingham Forest Football Club. This is expected to be announced officially, later today or on Monday.

There is some disagreement over Forest fans on various Red forums over whether this appointment is a good one as he plays a style which they feel does not suit Forest. I say who cares? Look at his record with West Bromwich Albion, and wouldn't it be brilliant if he could do for us what he did for them. Or at least get us out of the mire.
