Our last match against St Mirren probably goes down as one of the matches of the season a gritty fighting display with incidents, talking points and a fantastic winner from Owen Coyle. Which gave us a 3 Vs. victory over the Buddies.
Sandy Stewart goes in to this match with only two injury concerns, Stephen Docherty and Kevin Christie are both suffering from groin strains meaning Willie Wilson will be brought in to do a job for us.
We have recently jumped over St Mirren in the league and a win tomorrow will allow us to open up a five point gap over them. St Mirren may have a game in hand over us but it is better to have the points in the bag.
Will Sandy have an eye on the cup game against Ross County on Monday night or will he be concentrating on the league?

Is Gus McPherson a man on the edge? St Mirren have not had a win in eight games and lost 2-0 to bottom of the league Raith Rovers last week, a 2-0 defeat that gave Raith their best result of the season.
Manager Gus McPherson has Mixu Paatelainen (knee), Allan Russell (groin) and Kevin McGowne (ankle) all struggling for the Paisley side. Definitely out is the suspended John Baird.
When last we visited Love street, is there a steeper away ground in Scotland, Mark Roberts gave us a very late equaliser to send us all away happy.
Gus McPherson is hoping his team bounce back from last weekends disaster, but let's hope they pick a different week to perform.

Talk about card happy, Iain Brines has averaged over three bookings a game this season so far and helped knock us out of the league cup by sending Stephen McKeown off during our 1-0 defeat to Clyde earlier in the season.
Brines only game with out a booking this season was a 1-1 draw between Ireland and Bulgaria. | |
Last seasons record: Games: 29 Yellow Cards: 98 Red Cards: 2 |

This is just one of those games you look forward to, we have a rivalry with St Mirren that just doesn't reach the same heights of our hatred with Partick Thistle but it is there none the less. Could we finish this weekend third in the Bells First Division? If we win tomorrow we could and I'm predicting a 2-1 win for the Diamonds. |
