Yesterday saw the completion of several fund raising events held in memory of Sammy Conn, twenty five Airdrieonains fans paid for the privilage to be humbled by Johnny Martin, Jimmy Sandison, Sandy Stewart. Paul Jack, Evan Balfour, Gerry Farrell, Marvyn Wilson, Kenny Black, Alan Lawrence, Owen Coyle & Kenny Brannigan and all in a good cause.

The organiser are proud to announce the following has been raised for the following causes in Sammys memory :

"Ayrshire Hospice & the Sammy Conn carers: £6700

Airdrie Under 14 & 15 Youth Teams shirt sponsorship : £800

Macmillans Nurses £500

Alzheimer's Scotland £250

And finally......
Sammy's Shelter £3000

Sammy's Shelter is a project to build a Covered Disabled & Wheelchair Access Shelter at the Stadium which leaves a lasting legacy for a true Airdrieonian Legend......

An amazing day & night was had by all & the deepest thanks everyone who attended, contributed & made all the the events over the last month or so special. 
Players & fans alike.
