Airdrie have been drawn at home in the CIS cup, the match scheduled for the 1st of August will see us hosting Alloa.

Queen's Park v Queen of the South
Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Annan Athletic
Stenhousemuir v St Johnstone
Ross County v Montrose
East Stirlingshire v St Mirren
Partick Thistle v Berwick Rangers
East Fife v Raith Rovers
Dundee v Stranraer
Stirling Albion v Ayr United
Airdrie United v Alloa Athletic
Cowdenbeath v Morton
Peterhead v Arbroath
Albion Rovers v Livingston
Clyde v Forfar Athletic
Dumbarton v Dunfermline Athletic

Ties to be played on the following dates

First round - Saturday 1 or Sunday 2 August 2009
Second round - Tuesday 25 or Wednesday 26 August 2009
Third round - Tuesday 22 or Wednesday 23 September 2009
Fourth round - Tuesday 27 or Wednesday 28 October 2009
Semi-finals - Tuesday 2 or Wednesday 3 February 2010
Final - Sunday 21 March 2010

(Sm105) Now Now,Mr Black is quoted as saying that he did not notice any increase in support last year when Airdrie went from Div 2 up to Div 1.......wonder why??(Sm147)

same sh*te every year man . . . last year when we were in div 1, we get Dunfermline, Partick and ross county (twice) in cups, its a stick on this year for East Fife in the scottish and MAYBE in the next round of the Co-Op we'll have Clyde for a change (yawn!)

Surely there should be something in this day and age where in the first round at least you get a tie with a team outwith your league?

Already a ball hasnt been kicked and I feel that I will have to drag myself to these games.
