The Beatson Institute Race Night

On the 27th of June we are holding a Race Night/ Fund Raiser on behalf of th Beatson Clinic in Glasgow. We are doing this because some close friends and Airdrie fans have unfortunatley had to under go treatments at the clinic.

Everyone is invited to the night and we hope to run a disco/ Karaoke afterwards. We are also looking for people to sponsor races, name horses and jockeys and donate raffle prizes.

Up for discussion would you get your head shaved to raise money for charity?

So that's

Sat 27th June
Cue Here/ HallCraig Street Airdrie
Disco from 7pm
First Race 8:15pm
Tickets £1

Race Sponsorship:- Donate two prizes and name the race (Horse owner wins one, jockey wins the other)
Owne Names the horse: £2
To be the Trainer: £1
Karaoke: Pay £1 to sing a song  (if you have any requests let us know)

Not sure if this will work, butI've created a donation button for the fund raising night, if you would like to donate brilliant.

But I was thinking If I put up a bottle of Vodka and a bottle of wine as the sponsor we could have our own Stomp Race.

To be the owner and chance to win the Vodka it's £2.50

The trainer £1.50 for the bottle of wine.
(It wll cost a little bit extra doing it this way to cover Paypals deductions)

This seems like a great idea I hope it raises loads a money as I know they do great work there.Big Tam is currently in there receiving treatment so GET your cash out now.I believe Cue Here has race cards available at all time so why not pop in and help this wonderful cause.
