Airdrie Vs St Johnstone

All seasons come to an end and today's match against St Johnstone could see us finish the season on a high. A win is the only thig that matters today, a win could see us lifted out of the play off spot and settled in the Irn Bru first division for at least another season.

Unfortunately to have a happy ended you have to have a villian of the peace and today's villian is a football club called Ross County, we are two points behind them and four goals adrift a draw at Morton would probably see Airdrie in the playoffs.

St Johnstone come to us today after winning the Irn Bru first division last week, they have already announced some of their players, Kevin James in particular, know they will not be at the club next season. Kevin Rutkewicz and Liam Craig as both are a yellow card from suspension and may be left out. Paul Sheerin is rated 50-50, while Euan McLean could start in goal.

Airdrie manager Kenny Black has a full squad to choose from and the team know that nothing but a win will do.

Question: Do you really want the season to end today? I've actually enjoyed this season, it's the most competitive league I can ever remember. There is only 24 points seperating top and bottom, the SPL is seperated by 46 points, the EPL has a 52 point gap between top and bottom and it's supposed to be the most competitive in the world.

1-1 Percentage 20% [9]
