By Stomp Admin April 25 2009 Today is the first of three games that will mean survival, playoff or the seaside league for Airdrie, enough has been said about last weeks disaster and it is time to focus on today's match. Will it make a difference who knows!
Kenny black only has one injury worry ahead of today's game, Simon Lynch who has left the field of play in our last two matches, he will be given a late fitness test today.
Stuart Noble has returned to the club after a loan spell at Alloa, the question is will he fit straight back in to the team, assuming Simon is unfit, will his experience be nough to give him a start over others who have been in the squad all season?
Rpss County have a couple of worries ahead of todays game, Dyron Daal, Martin Scott and Adam Strachan all look likely to miss out through injury, while Richard Brittain is still suspended, Scott Boyd returns from his ban.
With McKenna and Scotty holding firm, Di Giac and Noble dropping wide when defending, and Baird lingering with intent we can win the midfield battle and go on to win. The 451 defensive formation is extremely fluid ensuring we have a lot of attacking prowess too.
