Airdrie, beyond The Thunder Dome
By Stomp Admin September 6 2008
Tomorrow for your amusement, "Two teams enter One team leaves" the victor and earns themselve a place in the Semi finals of the Alba Challenge Cup. Airdrie Vs Cowdenbeath at Central "The Thunderdome" Park. Kick off is 3pm. Airdrie have a job to do concentration and a professional performance should see us through.

But where have have we heard that before, we as a team have always loved being the under dog and I'm sure that will be no different for Cowdenbeath.

Kenny Black has only one injury concern going in to tomorrow's match, Joe Cardle crocked after a horrendous tackle by Allan McManus last week. I'm led to believe that the swelling in Joe's knee had still not subsided enough for an x-ray to determine the extent of any damage on Monday of this week. Lets hope it's not to serious.

So what does Kenny do? Does he rest a couple of players for this match knowing that we are away to top of the division Livingston next week? Or simply just go for it and boost the players confidence even more should we win?

Cowdenbeath have made a couple of loan signings defender John Armstrong from Hearts and goalkeeper Scott Gallacher from Rangers will be available for selection.

The Prediction league Says:-

Home Win: Percentage 0% [0]
Away Win: Percentage 95% [59]
Draw: Percentage 4% [3]

We're feeling pretty confident about this one.

Todays bets:-

0-3 Percentage 32% [20]

0-2 Percentage 27% [17]

1-3 Percentage 19% [12]

What's your thoughts?

Due to road works anyone travelling to the game tomorrow has been advised to follow this route.

At the Hallbeath Interchange.
Take Kirkaldy/Dunfermline t/o three quarters the way round the interchange
Then take
B925 to Crossgates
Then turn left onto B981.
Take Hill o Beath , Keltie t/
After 1 mile approx take B917
After 1.5m approx you will see a sign for football traffic.
