Cooperative insurance Cup Airdrie @ County

The CIS Cup is no more, we now compete in the Co-operative Insurance Cup a mouth full if ever there was one, just trying saying it after a six hour round trip to Dingwall, which some of us will be making tonight if we want to watch the match live. Our match sees the top two from last seasons second division compete and it will give a good insight on how things have developed in both camps.

After Saturdays display against Queen of the South most of us are content that Kenny Black set his stall not to lose on the opening day of the season, will the same format contiue in to tonights match? Is a cup game different should it be viewed as simply a one off chance to go out and entertain and just go for it?

Paul Lovering is available for tonights game, his four match suspension is only for the league, Marc Smyth may be our only doubt taken off at half time during Saturdays game in Dumfries no information has been made avialable whether his injury is serious?

Ross County have a few injury problems Joe Malin, Danny Griffin, Michael Gardyne and Dene Shields will all miss out tonight.
