Airdrie Vs Cowdenbeath preview
By Chris Mac April 11 2008
Today’s challenge is first of all to get the game on, two matches at home in a row seems like a miracle after all the rain and flooding of the past two months. Airdrie have continued to allow kids in for £2 as an Easter break bonus and hopefully a nice day, a good win and a decent atmosphere will see it pay dividends.

Kevin MacDonald returns from his two game suspension just in time for the fans to wonder whether he can play in the same midfield as Graeme Holmes.  Graeme who has been out for a few months now his regained his fitness just in time to help us in our race for promotion. I hope they can because we badly need a solid midfield to drive us on.

Kenny still has doubts over the fitness of Stephen McKenna and Ricky Waddell and both are expected to miss Saturdays match. This brings up another question should we try resting players or protecting players who may be running the risk of suspension we’re guaranteed a play of spot but does it matter which play off spot we get? I do think we have to win every game possible for the run in as it will build confidence not only amongst the players but the fans as well so can we risk resting some players?
