Alloa Vs Airdrie match preview for 11/08/07
By Stomp Admin August 10 2007
Airdrie trained at Recreation park in Alloa today and were quite impressed with the new artificial surface and Kenny Black feels "the team are as prepared as they can be" taken from the official site. Our second match of the season will be another tough game.

We already know Willie Soutar is out for tomorrows match but there is good news concerning his injury, his foot is not broken and he should return to training in two weeks. Bryan Prunty will again miss out on this match but he is making his way back to full fitness, who knows he may even surprise us tomorrow.
After Wednesday nights game against Partick Thistle Paul Lovering and Rickie Waddell could be doubtful.

Prices for this match are:
Terracing; Adult £10 Concessions £5
Stand; Adult £11 Concessions £6
Kick-off is 3pm

Alloa who are sitting top of the league at the moment after a good opening day away win versus Peterhead will also be playing on the Recs new artificial surface for the first time.

There is no Alloa team news as yet.

word of advice, leave early. ongoing roadworks on kincardine bridge are causing massive tailbacks on the M876. good news is no events are planned for knockhill. alternate route to recs is via (outskirts of) stirling.

from the A73, go to the A80 at Auchenkilns, then take the M80 to Granada Services, then take the A91 Alloa/St Andrews turn-off , then take the A907 to Alloa, then follow signs for Kincardine Br. the ground's on the left

looks harder than it is, but it's not a shortcut, by any means. saves sitting on the M876 car park tho'
