The Dolman Stand

 

The Dolman is the largest stand at Ashton Gate. It has two tiers being the upper and lower dolman with the lower being the GWR family enclosure. The Dolman is the most popular of the three stands due to its size and it good views of the pitch.

It has a number of kiosks which serve all the things you would expect in the football ground apart from alcohol! The quality is poor which is normal for city and the service is not that good either. It is something you come to expect when you are a city fan.

Best View

This would be anywhere in the Upper Dolman in Blocks C, D and E. The best of these would be in D right at the top where the whole pitch is visible.  

Best Block for Atmosphere

Block B attracts most of the fans who want to make an atmosphere at the Gate. They normally start most of the chants which going around the Dolman.

Worst Seats 

Any seats at the bottom of the Lower Dolman this is because the other side of the pitch is barely visible and in the last five minutes of the game the view gets blocked by the traditional early leavers in the Dolman
