Leigh were originally scheduled to play at least two further fixtures prior to the visit to the Horsfall Stadium, but the poor weather and fixture complications mean that Lee Merricks' young side have had a two week rest since their thrilling 2-2 draw on the North Yorkshire coast with Whitby Town earlier this month.
Hosts Bradford Park Avenue, one of the pre-season favourites amongst the bookmakers, currently find themselves in eighth position in the UniBond Premier League after winning just once in their previous five league and cup outings, including a 2-0 home defeat to struggling Witton Albion last week, with ex-Leigh defender Paul Booth (pictured below) scoring Albion's second goal that afternoon.

BPA's Horsfall Stadium home isn't a particularly difficult one to find, with any Leigh supporters who also follow rugby league likely to be subconsciously aware of the ground's location, given it's close proximity to Bradford Bulls' world-famous Odsal Stadium on the A6036 (junction 26 on the M62).
At just £6 for adults, £4 for concessions and £2 for juniors, the Horsfall Stadium is one of the cheapest grounds in the league, although unfortunately there is only one stand of any description, and even that is a distance from the pitch because of the athletics track that surrounds the pitch.
Kick off is at 3pm with numerous 'car shares' still available through the Leigh Genesis Supporters Association for those wishing to travel to the game.
