Victory Park unavailable

Leigh Genesis’ upcoming league fixture with Bradford Park Avenue has seen a change of venue, while Leigh’s twice-postponed Lancashire Trophy fixture with neighbours Atherton Collieries has wreaked havoc with the fixture list, prompting a succession of changes.

Due to the unavailability of Chorley's Victory Park, the UniBond Premier League meeting with Bradford Park Avenue, originally scheduled for Saturday 29th November, has been switched to take place at BPA's Horsfall Stadium, with the Yorkshire side agreeing to visit Leigh on Saturday 14th March 2009.

With the Lancashire Trophy visit to Atherton Collieries re-scheduled to take place this coming Monday (24th November, 7:45pm), the UniBond League Challenge Cup fixture with Ashton United, originally due to take place that evening, will instead take place on Saturday 6th December.

That particular December date was originally set aside for Leigh to visit Ashton in the league, with that particular fixture instead taking place on Monday 2nd February 2009.

Hope a venue will be confirmed later today for the Bradford game, not sure why Victory Park is unavailable but maybe our next home game will be at the LSV?!

Bradford game now switched, we go to Yaarkshire a week tomorrow instead of in March.

The odds are going to be stacked against us, but hopefully the lads can produce a similar performance to Saturday and get a positive result.

umm bradford are a strong side an it wil be a testin match bt a thnk they will have a bit of confidence in umselves! . . . Satdi was a fab performance . . .more of the same. . .an a bloody good win at Ath would make my birthday fingers crossed =D. . . .1thng! Gud luk bois!

Colls Reserves beat Cheadle 5-0. If it's cold tonight then I wouldn't be confident, but fingers crossed.

If we're off tomorrow then Daisy Hill are at home in the Lancs Trophy.

Does this mean that cables game on tues 2nd of dec is off due to lancs trophy game? hope not as ive booked nite off work for this crunch game against our massive rivals.

Lancashire FA websites states the Radcliffe tie to be next Thursday so, in that case, the Prescot game would still go ahead.

cant understand it. . .it wasnt hard . . .it makes sence to me bt my sence and evryone elses are agreeable . . .marginally different
I said that it 'pickled' it down,in nicer terms, an that wasnt giving us a gud chance of hope. I hopd the game would be on becus i had places i was supossed to be but if it was called off that we would find out relatively early eg ten to 3 so that there may stil b a chance a cud do wat i was meant to
