With Leigh Genesis drawn to face North West Counties League neighbours Atherton Collieries in the First Round of the Lancashire FA Co-Operative Challenge Cup, the UniBond Premier League fixture away to local rivals Prescot Cables has been rescheduled.

The visit to Hope Street was originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday 11th November but, with county cup fixtures taking precedence over league fixtures, this game has now been rescheduled to take place on Tuesday 2nd December with a 7:45pm kick off.

The game away to Atherton Collieries is to take place at Alder House on Monday 10th November with a 7:45pm kick off.

Well done to the club for getting it sorted so quickly, though what the league were thinking of when they organised league fixtures on county cup week, I don't know.

I'm sure Nick "I don't do Monday's" Molyneux will be chuffed with the Colls game being on a Monday night - hope it's as good as last time!

Are u sure lol ive never known lancs cup games to be on a monday?
Also ill try an buk off prescot game

It's definitely on the Monday according to the official site, think it's because Laburnums are at home on the Tuesday.
