With the recent name change from Leigh RMI to Leigh Genesis creating a huge amount of interest, a large travelling support is expect to herald a new beginning at Alder House, with supporters advised to arrive early and soak up the atmosphere ahead of a momentous evening, the likes of which haven't been seen at Alder House in a long while.

Admission costs just £4 for adults and £1 for concessions, while the Atherton side will be producing a programme to mark the historic occasion.

In recognition of the importance of this fixture, Atherton Collieries have kindly offered to play in their away strip of all yellow, allowing Leigh Genesis to take to the field in their new home kit of white shirts with black trim, black shorts and black socks.

Alder House is situated adjacent to Formby Hall on Alder Street, off Bolton Road, in Atherton, only a couple of miles from Hilton Park.

Kick off is at 7:30pm - get yourself along and make yourself heard and just have the opportunity to say that you were there for such a game!
