Rob Marsh-Evans
Since joining the club on what was originally a loan deal from League Two side Chester City, twenty one year old Marsh-Evans (pictured) has cemented himself as a first team regular, going to earn the club captaincy, showing a degree of responsibility that belied his youthful years, scoring his first RMI goal in the thrilling 2-1 home victory over local rivals Burscough.
Marsh-Evans gained first team experience with Droylsden and rivals Vauxhall Motors prior to joining RMI, forming a formidable partnership alongside Paul Booth towards the end of last season.
Despite attracting the interest of several clubs further up the footballing chain, the former Chester man has shown his commitment to the RMI revolution by signing up to the club's first season at the Leigh Sports Village.
Also signing up to RMI's ambitions for the season is versatile player Thomas Moore, who joins the club after a successful campaign with local UniBond Premier League rivals Prescot Cables, the twenty four year old scoring twelve goals in a twenty seven game period that saw him appear not only in his preferred role in the centre of midfield, but also as a centre back and striker.
