Two recent defeats, at home to Barrow and away to basement rivals Hinckley United, have seen Hucknall plunge in to the relegation zone, coinciding with RMI's recent resurgence in form that brought an impressive point at play-off challengers Harrogate Town that was preceeded by a joyous 1-0 home victory over Alfreton Town.
The 0-0 draw at Harrogate brought several injury worries for Leigh boss Steve Bleasdale, with midfielder Neil Carroll, winger Brad Maylett and new striker James Dunn all receiving knocks that mean they have a race to be fit in time to line up at Watnall Road, while midfielder Robin Gibson is still missing through suspension.
Last season's visit to Hucknall was in similarly important circumstances, with Leigh coming from behind to claim a priceless 3-1 victory, thanks largely to two Chris Simm goals and a stroke of good fortune as the hosts scored a bizarre own goal.
Supporters wishing to travel to Hucknall to support the lads can do so via the M1 and following signposts to Hucknall, with admission costing £9 for adults.
