Job Dunn for RMI

New signing James Dunn
By Matt Lawton March 11 2008
Leigh RMI boss Steve Bleasdale has completed the signing of nineteen year old former Wigan Athletic striker James Dunn from Blue Square North rivals Burscough.

Dunn, who has made fourteen league appearances for Burscough this season after joining the Linnets following his release from Barclays Premier League side Wigan Athletic, goes straight in to the squad that faces Alfreton Town at Hilton Park on Saturday.

Dunn may already be familiar to some RMI fans after he scored Burscough's second goal, a terrific curling eaffort past Ben Saynor from the edge of the penalty area, in RMI's thrilling 3-2 FA Trophy victory at Victoria Park earlier in the season.

  • This Saturday's home game against Alfreton Town is another day of special offers, with adults able to gain admission to Hilton Park for a reduced price of £7, with over 65’s and students costing £4 while under 16’s can see some excellent Blue Square North action for just £1. Also, as a special gesture, RMI season ticket holders can bring along a guest to see the game for just £1.
