Not So Much A Match Report As A Moan

By Alan Turnbull
April 8 2003

3 days after the disaster that was our trip to Ayrshire I have finaly decided to write a piece on the game, not so much a Match Report because I can't realy find it in me to talk about the display to much First of all my apologies for not getting a Match Report on the site soonre, normally I would have one posted Sunday morning at the latest but realy I didn't know what to write, I mean what Hibee wan't to read about their team getting gubbed 6-2 away to a very average Killmarnock team. So instead of writing a report on the game I am going to have one big moan instead. The game on Saturday gave us a great chance to leapfrog Dundee into 6th place in the league and with the Dens Park men not playing until the Sunday against EUFA cup semi-finalists and championship chasing Celtic most Hibees would have thought we would be in pole position before the last round of games before the leahue split. Unfortunatley that was not to be the case, after one of the worst displays seen by a Hibs team we got absolutely skuded 6-2, if you were to look at the stats as well you would see chances were about even which doesn't say much for the Killie team. To make matters wors Dundee played a blinder against Celtic on Sunday and were unfortunate to only get the draw, meaning Hibs are 1 pont behind Dundee with 1 game to go. Hibs will play Livi an Easter road and hope that Motherwell will be able to take something off Dundee. Untitled
