Transfer Rumours Involving WBA Hot up as we gear ourselves for the new season. Albion linked with SPL Striker and old boy Jason Roberts.
West Bromwich Albion, have been after Celtics John Hartson as a replacement for the rumoured departure of Kanu and Campbell. It is thought the clubs have agreed a fee in the region of £500,000.
It is also rumoured that Albion have made a bid for x baggies striker Jason Roberts. Who is currently unsettled with premier outfit Wigan. Roberts would also have the chance to link up with his x strike partner Nathan Ellington for a third time, should he choose to return. The fee is likely to be around the 2 Million mark.
The baggies are also being linked with a mysterious forward already based in the midlands, according to reports. Could this person be Coventry City McSheffrey.
Going the other way, Wigan made a triple bid in the region of 10 million for 3 of our players, Davies, Gera and the Duke.

"We have made it clear since the day we knew which division we would be playing in next season that it is our intention to strengthen our squad, not take it apart." Also Albion have have turned down an improved offer of 1.4 million for defender Paul Robinson from his former club Watford.
It is thought that Wigan will now make individual bids for the the above mentioned players. Especially Zoltan Gera who is attracting much attention from other clubs such as Spurs and Villa, As it is also rumoured that he has handed in a transfer request.
