West Bromwich Albion are one of several Premiership and Championship clubs that have joined the race for Blue Square Premier star Jamie Vardy. Roy Hodgson has already made a special visit to see the 24 year old striker in action, and Albion could be one of several clubs looking to make a move for him in the summer.
Vardy, who moved to Fleetwood Town from Halifax last summer, is set to become non-league football's first million pound player. Crystal Palace tried, unsuccessfully to sign the striker in Janaury - but his 28 goals in 32 appearances have attracted extra intention.
His contract at Fleetwood expires this summer.
