The West Brom faithful have seen their side slip to seven defeats now at the Hawthorns this season, and their side remain the lowest scoring home side in the whole Premier League - having bagged themselves just eight goals in the last eleven outings.
Hodgson shares in the frustration of the fans. He says he knows they are unhappy, as indeed are he and his staff. But the boss admits to being slightly baffled and in a state of despair over his sides poor home form.
He commented "I don’t think I can remember seven home defeats. It’s a very negative statistic and there is no way I can say anything which changes the obvious negativity of that statistic". And doesn't everyone just know it.
There is an increasing unease at the Hawthorns of late. Something which the gaffer knows can only be solved by a return to winning ways. He, along with all others associated with the club, know only too well that the fate of West Bromwich Albion this season could very well rest on their home form.
