Albion poised to land Myhill
By Jemma Tappenden

West Bromwich Albion look set to complete their search for a goal keeper this week with a deal for Hull City's Boaz Myhill poised to go through. Gaffer Roberto Di Matteo has been searching for good competition for current number one Scott Carson, and Myhill has been a known target for some time. Hull City had always insisted that Myhill was not for sale.

However the cash strapped Tigers appear to have made a u-turn with Albion having made a reported £1.5 million bid for the 27 year old Welsh International.

It is unlikely that any deal for Myhill will be completed quickly, but with Hull City now seemingly interested in off loading the keeper - who is just 1 year into a 3 year contract, Di Matteo could now be in a position to end his keeper search after failing in three separate bids to land Preston's Andrew Lonergan.
