West Brom Chairman
Peace stressed that the club will not be selling their best players, no matter what the price. Instead the cuts will come from elsewhere. The only confirmed exits thus far are Pele, Jared Hodgkiss and Carl Hoefkens, who have all been informed they will be released at the end of the season.
The Chairman was insistent that this was a strategy which had been well thought through, commenting that in absolute emergencies loan players could be brought in.
Of the top players Peace assured fans that they will be held to their contracts unless they are adamant in moving on. The club will not be accepting offers on those players it feels will be vital to a promotion push or another Premiership campaign should they secure promotion next year.
