Baggies to reveal Valero as new signing

West Bromwich Albion look set to reveal Borja Valero as their latest signing today, despite a number of sources claiming yesterday that the deal had already been done. Interest in Valero has been well publicised since before Albion kicked off the Premiership season last Saturday, but no confirmed deal was announced yesterday.

Baggies fans might expect to hear news of the new signing later today however, with Valero's agent Martan Paledes already raving about how much his client is looking forward to playing in the Premiership with West Brom.

A deal is expected to be finalised somewhere in the region of £4.75-£5 million, which at either end of the spectrum eclipses Albion's previous transfer record of £3.5 millions for Robert Earnshaw.
