Mowbray hopeful of more signings
By Jemma Tappenden August 17 2008
The transfer window closes in two weeks time, but West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has revealed that he is hopeful of more signings before the deadline in just 14 days time. Mowbray has already added to his squad during the close season, but yesterday's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal has heightened the need for reinforcements at the Hawthorns.

The Baggies boss has revealed his hopes to make more additions to his squad before their next league fixture on Saturday at home to Everton.

Mowbray has neither revealed the name of his targets, or the areas in which he intends top strengthen, but speaking after yesterday's game with Arsenal he reiterated the need for a strong squad, pointing in particular to the quality on the subs bench.

But Mowbray did reveal he has four targets in mind, all of which he hopes to have secured before the transfer deadline.  He commented that negotiations and plans were progressing well, and even hinted that two of his targets may well have put pen to paper at the Hawthorns before next weekend.
