Cech mate at the Hawthorns

New signing Cech
By Jemma Tappenden July 16 2008
Tony Mowbray bagged himself a sixth summer signing yesterday by securing the signature of 25 year old left back Marek Cech. The Slovakian International has penned a deal to keep him at the Hawthorns for three years, in a move which has set the Baggies back £1.4 million.

The arrival of Cech in the West Midlands had been rumoured for some time.  But the deal to move the left back over from FC Porto was finally confirmed yesterday afternoon.

Cech has already arrived with the rest of Tony Mowbray's men as they continue their tour of Holland and Germany.
