Mowbray adds to his Backroom Staff
By Jemma Tappenden July 2 2008
Gaffer Tony Mowbray has extended is team of backroom staff at the Hawthorns by overseeing the appointment of Dan Harris as the head of Sports Science. Harris, former fitness coach at St Andrews for Birmingham City, has been described as young and dynamic, and it is believed he fulfils the requirements seeked by Mowbray to help move the club forward.

28 year old Dan Harris played an instrumental role in setting up a sports science house at St Andrews over the last 24 months, which has proved vital in tracking players health and fitness.

Harris replaces Dave Wilson, who arrived at the Hawthorns last October as Strength and Conditioning Coach, and departed the club at the end of the season.

The Sports Science department has also been strengthened by the arrival of Bill Styles as an assistant to Harris.
