Season ticket sales excel with just nine days left
By Jemma Tappenden April 22 2008
It is comendable that in this day and age of football West Bromwich Albion Football Club saw fit to reduce their season ticket prices for second year on the trot. Fans certainly seem to have enjoyed snapping up the deals, as the club revealed that with just nine days to go until the deadline, over 10,000 season tickets have been sold.

When the club first introduced this offer it was unclear which division Albion would be in next season, but even with that in mind with adult tickets starting from just £299 that is a deal and a half.

But now with just two games to play and the Baggies needing to secure just a point to gain promotion to the Premier League, it looks very much as if these cheap prices will guarantee supporters Premiership football for the next campaign.

Not that anyone will take anything for granted.  But with promotion party plans in the pipeline fans are reminded that they have until 7pm on Wednesday 30th April to take advantage of the decreased ticket prices.
