TNS gain first ever victory in Champions League with a late Hogan goal giving them a 3-2 win over Ventspils. In the UEFA Cup, Rhyl come from behind to win 3-1 vs. Haka of Finland, but Carmarthen lose 8-0 at home to Brann of Norway. Rhyl then are aiming for a glam second round tie, should they beat Haka over the two legs.
